NIGERIA/SIERRA LEONE JOINT COMMISSION

This is a body put in place for the enhancement of cooperation between Nigeria and Sierra Leone.

The cooperation and collaboration is expected to take place in the following specific areas amongst other general areas such as:

-Economic Cooperation

-Investments

-Information

-Commerce

-Trade

-Industry

-Education

-Security

Meetings are usually held on a rotatory basis in Nigeria and Sierra Leone at agreed periods.

People from the Nigeria Chamber of Commerce represent Nigeria while various Ministries Departments and parastatals represent Sierra Leone.

In Sierra Leone, the meetings are chaired by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International cooperation.
